Tess is the Chair of Thinkbox, which she set up in 2006 as its first CEO. Prior to this, she was the Chairman of the PHD Group in the UK. In June 2018, she was awarded the Mackintosh Medal for her professional and personal contribution to advertising. Tess sits on the Council of the Advertising Standards Authority and is a Fellow of the Marketing Society, an Emeritus member of the MGGB and a Patron of NABS and in 2013, was voted Media Industry Leader of the Decade by readers of Campaign magazine.
Jenny set up the7stars in 2005 after a career in media agencies including Zenith and Carat. In the last 13 years the7stars has grown to be the UK’s largest media independent agency with billings of over £350 Million and over 200 people.

Zaid is currently Chief Brand & Marketing Officer of BT Group, whose portfolio of brands includes BT, EE, Plusnet & Openreach. Zaid is also globally responsible for brand and marketing strategy, online and offline, customer insight and NPS, advertising and marketing communications, media planning & buying, sponsorships, and driving customer centricity. He also chairs the Digital Board, which leads digital transformation.

Steve has spent the last 18 years of his career in the digital advertising industry. He’s the Director of Media for ISBA, leading a team delivering industry education, standards, research and shaping and campaigning for effective, responsible industry self-regulation across all media platforms on behalf of marketers.
Liam Bairstow has appeared in Coronation Street since September 2015, when he was the first actor with Downs Syndrome to be cast in a British TV Soap.
Libby Child co-founded Greengrass Consulting just under 3 years ago, specialising in the marketing and communication sector and working with teams to strengthen their performance. Prior to this she spent ten years setting up Aprais UK and developing it into the leading independent agency/marketing client performance measurement consultancy.
Libby’s earlier, 20 year plus, career was spent working within communication agencies in roles including Managing Director, Worldwide Account Director, and European Chief Operating Officer, at Ogilvy, Y&R, McCann and FutureBrand.

Carly is Group Head of Media at Sky working across all of Sky’s markets.
She is responsible for strategic media initiatives, key media business relationships, driving best practice and knowledge sharing, and identifying and implementing common opportunities across the Sky markets. She lead the most recent media agency review across Europe.
Carly joined Sky in 2016, having previously worked with advertisers and agencies to improve the effectiveness of their media over the last ten years.
Philip Collins is a columnist for The Times. He was a chief speech writer for Prime Minister Tony Blair in 10 Downing Street between 2004 and 2007, and has subsequently written keynote speeches for a range of senior politicians, leaders of charities and NGOs and chief executive officers. Collins is the author of When they Go Low, We Go High; the Art of Speeches and Presentations; and Start Again: How We Can Fix Our Broken Politics.

Gerry's remit is to oversee P&G’s significant investment in media, manage relationships with key external agencies and partners and drive best practice across all its businesses and regions. He has held roles previously at Mondelez, Samsung, Sky, Starcom and Leo Burnett. Gerry is married, has two children and a dog and splits his time between Switzerland and the UK.

Commander Clarke Jarrett has been part of the UK’s Counter Terrorism Network since September 2012 and led the response for the Counter Terrorism Command to the terrorist attacks in London during 2017. Prior to this he spent 5 years working on Intelligence and Covert Operations for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
He is an alumni of the USA’s International Visitors Leadership Programme (IVLP) and the 5 Eyes Leaders in Counter Terrorism (LinCT) Programme.

Nick joined MediaLink in April 2018 after 27 years in media agencies and 10 years at Ebiquity, where he was Chief Strategy Officer.

Neal is a senior media professional with over 25 years experience in the media advertising industry. Since joining PwC, he has developed the ISBA version 2 media agency framework for clients and agencies, and supported the UK Government media buying pitched focussed on outcomes, quality of service and transparency.
Previously, he has worked for media agencies as a planning director at Vizeum and Saatchi & Saatchi, and head of global clients at Accenture Media Management.

David Dinsmore was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of News UK in September 2015.
Joining News UK in 1990, he become Editor in 2006, where his standout achievement was to drive circulation to a market-leading 400,000-plus daily copies. David became Managing Editor of The Sun, and then Director of Operations for News UK in October 2012 and Editor of The Sun in 2013.
He is also chairman of the News Media Association (NMA), the industry body representing national, regional and local news media in the UK - a position he has held since January 2018.
Rob Hattrell leads one of eBay’s strongest markets worldwide, attracting over 24 million British buyers a month.
Under his leadership, eBay.co.uk continues to establish its position as a value-led shopping destination with a refreshed brand presence, strong product offering and new developments including eBay delivery and product image search.
Rob is also responsible for bringing eBay together with some of the most recognisable brands in the country. Nick leads Ebiquity’s UK Effectiveness division, helping clients in FMCG, retail, financial services, and travel enhance return on investment. He developed Ebiquity’s pioneering TestMatch service, and has been part of the group since 2003.
Before he joined Ebiquity, he completed a PhD in optimisation methods.

Phil joined ISBA in January, 2017 and heads up the organisation. He’s responsible for ISBA’s strategic direction and its advocacy agenda. He leads the team of ISBA directors and looks after the day to day operation of the business.
Jon is a Managing Partner at Gain Theory and has more than 25 years experience in the Marketing Effectiveness field both client-side and as a consultant.
In his client-side role at National Savings, his remit as Chief Economist saw him play a pivotal role in bringing together the various data and analytics functions to ensure that there was a consistent measure of success that was socialised across the business.

As WPP’s Head of Strategy and then CEO of WPP Digital, Mark was responsible for the company’s move into technology through the acquisition of 24/7 Real Media, the creation of digital network POSSIBLE and the launch of Stream, WPP’s celebrated “unconference”.
Earlier in his career, Mark co-founded and developed internet start-up WebRewards, and specialised in the media and marketing industries as a principal at consultancy Booz Allen & Hamilton.
Matthew Taylor has been Chief Executive of the RSA since November 2006.
In July 2017 Matthew published the report ‘Good Work’; an independent review into modern employment, commissioned by the UK Prime Minister. Matthew’s previous roles include Chief Adviser on Political Strategy to the Prime Minister, and Chief Executive of the ippr the UK’s leading left of centre think tank.
Matthew is a regular media performer, having presented several Radio Four documentaries, and is a panellist on the programme Moral Maze.

Keith is a member of the Unilever Executive and responsible for the Marketing, Communications and Sustainable Business. He has held this role since 2010.

Mark started his Marketing career in Mars Inc and for 10 years worked on a number of their global brands across sectors and geographies. Subsequently Mark worked at 118118 and then HSBC. Prior to AppNexus, he served as Head of Orange Ad Market (UK & FR) for France Telecom. Nigel arrived at France Telecom after the acquisition of Unanimis in 2009, a business he co-founded in 2001. Unanimis was the first and largest digital publisher network in the UK, and as Commercial Director, Nigel established and managed commercial operations for eBay, BBC, Channel 5, and the London Stock Exchange, among others.

Joe is Bloomberg’s Brexit and Media reporter in London. He has delivered agenda-setting coverage of the biggest media stories in recent years, including the takeover battle for Sky, the resignation of WPP founder Martin Sorrell and the impact of Brexit on the U.K. broadcasting sector. Before joining Bloomberg, Joe freelanced for media outlets such as The Sunday Times, The Times and Al-Jazeera. He holds an MA in Journalism and International Development from Sciences Po, Paris, and studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Durham University.

Nishma is Marketing Director for Google and YouTube’s advertising products in the UK and the ex-Chair of Women@Google. Nishma is also a Non-Exec Board Director and Fellow of The Marketing Society.
Nishma started her career at Teletext, where she rose the ranks to Managing Director of the business - taking it digital and onto multiple platforms. After a number of roles in client start-up businesses, she returned to media and advertising, most recently prior to Google, at Dentsu UK as Chief Customer Officer for iProspect, working across brands such as British Airways and Sky.
Martin is CFO of Omnicom Media Group in the UK, whose agencies include OMD, Manning Gottlieb OMD, PHD and Hearts & Science. He is one of the longest-serving members of the IPA's Finance Business Group, having joined it in 2008, as well as being a past member of IPA Council. He is currently a member of the ISBA / IPA Sustainable relationships working party.
